Welcome to our Adoption Center. Many of these instruments spent years helping students learn and grow, now they’re ready for a permanent home. Alongside our retired rental stock, you will find specialty pieces we’ve accumulated over the years—unique items that don’t fit our standard lineup and deserve to be passed on instead of sitting on a shelf. Every instrument is cleaned and inspected by our repair techs, giving you a dependable option for practice, performance, or casual playing, at a fraction of the cost of buying new.
Adoption Center
Used Knilling Dvorak 16" Viola

Dvorak violas are the ideal instrument for beginning students. Dvorak violas are made in the Czech Republic with high-quality Spruce for the top, Maple for the back, ribs, and scroll; lastly, the fingerboard is made from Ebony. This instrument is equipped with Planetary Perfection pegs and comes with a Deluxe case.
Used Olds Trombone
F-Attachment
This trombone features an Ambassador F-attachment and dates to around 1975 based on its serial number. It’s built from yellow brass and sports a flat wrap—an uncommon design twist that makes it stand out from standard layouts. A solid vintage piece with character.
Used Vito Clarinet

These are clarinets that have been in our rental pool for a while, and it's time for this guy to find a new home.
Vito clarinets were Leblanc’s student line, and some models were even built by Yamaha under contract. Those Yamaha-made versions are sturdier and more consistent than typical student plastics, and overall Vitos remain reliable, well-built instruments with a solid pedigree.

Eastman Cadenza 1/4 Bow
1/4 Violin Bow
Eastman Cadenza bows are made of carbon fiber, which is light, durable, and consistent, meaning they won’t warp like wood and won't change shape when exposed to temperature and humidity. The balance is steady, the stick tracks cleanly, and the bow delivers a clear, focused tone.
Armstrong Step-up Head Joints
Head joints
Armstrong head joints, each featuring a sterling silver construction with gold lip plate. These are designed as intermediate-level upgrades and will only fit Armstrong brand flutes. Each head joint is accompanied by a description card that highlights tonal qualities and sound characteristics. For details and play testing, inquiries should be directed in-store.
Curved Head joint Jupiter Flute

This flute features a curved headjoint designed to bring the instrument’s body closer to the player, making it easier to hold and play for those with shorter arms or smaller reach. Ideal for younger students or players who need improved comfort and posture, the curved headjoint allows for proper hand positioning without compromising tone quality.
