  • Where are you located?
    Our new store location is: 1224 N 25th St Grand Junction CO 81501 Just north of North Ave. Behind Randy's Southside Dinner and Wienerschnitzel.
  • What are your hours?
    We are open from 9:30 - 6:00 Monday - Friday Saturday we are open from 9:30 - 2:00 Sundays we are closed.
  • Do you offer music lessons?
    We have lesson rooms available for teachers to use. Currently we have 2 guitar teachers and 1 flute teacher on our schedule. We also have a list of teachers around the valley that offer lessons. See our Music Lessons page for more information.
  • Do you deliver?
    We make regular deliveries to most of the schools on the western slope of Colorado. If you need something delivered to one of the local schools, please give us a call at 970-242-3272.
  • Do you buy used instruments?
    Sometimes. We can always take a look at the instrument that you have and give you a rough estimate on what its worth. If it is something we would be interested in we can make an offer on it. However, we do not do anything with used guitars or fretted instruments.
  • Do you offer Financing?
    Yes. We offer financing through Synchrony Bank with approved credit. See our Performance Instruments page for more information.

  • Do you sell used instruments?
    Yes. We do have some used band and orchestra instruments for sale. For options and availability give us a call at 970-242-3272.
  • Do you sell/rent used guitars?
    No. However, we do have affordable options for new guitars in stock available for purchase.
  • Do you have sheet music?
    Yes. We have a wide variety of method books, solo and ensemble, personality, compilations, etc. in just about every instrument. If you are looking for a specific song, we have access to the largest music publishers websites where we can download the music you are looking for.
  • Do we sell pianos/keyboards?
    No.
  • Do you sell records, CDs, cassettes?
    No.
  • Do you do instrument repair?
    Yes. We can do repair on Brass, Woodwind, and String/Fretted instruments.
  • Can you do guitar repairs?
    We can do minor repairs and adjustments on guitars, ukuleles, mandolins, basses, etc.
  • How much is it to repair an instrument?
    The cost of a repair is entirely dependent on the condition of the instrument. The best way to get an estimate is to bring in your instrument (no appointment needed) and have one of our repairmen look at it to give you a proper assessment.
  • Do I need need an appointment for a instrument repair?
    No. If you have an issue with your instrument just bring it in and we can have one of our repairmen look at it. They can usually give you an estimate on the cost of repair and an estimated time frame for the repair.
  • Do you charge to install new stings?
    If you purchase the strings from Roper Music we do not charge for installation. If the instrument needs to be cleaned, there could be a charge for cleaning. Exception: Floyd Rose system
  • Do you rent guitars, keyboards, amps, or sound equipment?
    No.
  • How old do I have to be to rent an instrument?
    21 years old. If you are younger, we will need a parent or guardian to sign for you. See our Rental Program page for more information.
  • How much is an instrument rental?
    Different instruments have different rental prices. You can find your instrument on our Rental Program page.
  • Do you provide music lessons?
    We have lists of music teachers around the valley that provide lessons. Currently we have 2 Guitar teachers and 1 Flute teacher here in store. Here is where you can find our music teachers list.
  • Who can use your lesson rooms?
    If you're interested in using our lesson rooms for teaching please inquire within.
  • What is provided in our lesson rooms?
    A neutral, clean, and friendly environment, 2 rooms available. The larger room has a piano available, and adequate space for a small family to be able to sit in on lessons. The smaller room is a perfect studio space for a one on one lesson, there is no piano available (great acoustics!).
